Hillary Goes Negative In Wisconsin

Hillary Goes Negative In Wisconsin

Expect to see a lot more of this.

Translation: Barack will not do what I want him to do.

Listen, if the two hadn’t already had a gazillion debates already then I’d understand. However, since being challenged by Hillary to debate him he’s agreed to two more debates between Super Tuesday and the beginning of March. That’s basically one a week. If that’s not enough for her then tough.

But here’s the thing, this ad really isn’t about debates. It’s about Hillary trying to push the other two memes about universal health care and economic recovery. As such, it waters down the message and makes it less effective. She should have just stayed on the “he’s scared of me” message. We’ll see if this works or not in the coming days.

Why is this negative? I don’t get it. This is not a “willie horton’ ad. It is a factual presentation of differences between the candidates stated position. Is Clinton now not allowed to even mention that she is running against Obama? That there are different policy positions between them? Not many, but there are some. This is so weird.

BTW – before I get pilloried by a legion of Obama acolytes – I actually disagree with both of Clinton’s policy positions as expressed in this ad.

Perhaps it is useful to keep in mind that this is, in fact, a political campaign and not an anointing.

Clinton clearly is the best choice. Obama espouses change? It will continue to be a big change for him if he is nominated. Perhaps a larger home..gift..of 800,000 (ABC News, Boston Globe) from his crooked donor, loosen up all nuclear regulations so he can get more money from Exelon (NY TIMES), maybe he can pass on 130 more votes to help children and protect them (Illinois State Record). If that isn’t good enough for the rock concert candidate..perhaps he can miss even more votes in the US Senate. Yes, change is his mantra..this week he has changed his view and decided he needs Latinos to help him, a month ago Jesse Jackson, an African American leader had to remind Obama that he is Black…so Obama sent his wife out to campaign for him (Wall Street Journal). He didn’t even have enough guts to stick up for the Jenna 5. Sad. Those kids were clearly the victims of racism. Obama changed from Black to neutral..again..This man with no courage-no integrity-but fully armed by the all white top tier of his campaign committee..no blacks, Latinos or otherwise..is the man…the run a way train. I wouldn’t get on that train if it were the last place on earth. I am sick of liars and cheats disguised as ‘good’ guys. I will continue to send Hillary Clinton every dime I have that I can legally. Emily’s List after that. If she does not win I will vote for McCain as he is a man of integrity which means more to me than a great speaker.

This ad is both negative and dishonest, as I’ve discussed here:

  • TomFromMD

I don’t get it. This isn’t negative at all.

  • Bob

The Cult of Obama really is getting their panties in a bunch. This isn’t negative in the least. “Oh know, she actually wants to discuss policy issues! That’s outrageous!”.

  • Joan Boyle

I don’t get it (either). This ad is not negative at all.

No matter what she does, it gets twisted, but this time you really had to make an effort to make this ad “negative”.

I have only seen one debate between the two of them alone, and one could see the slight differences in position and in knowledge/ preparedness there that did not show up at all in the prior “debates” involved eight candidates.

Face it, if obama’s “side” placed the add, hillary’s “side” would have called it negative. It’s negative because it’s not saying what Hillary would do it’s saying what she thinks Barak won’t do. It’s deceiving because it’s Hillary who was refusing a debate and then changed her mind.

While Hillary isn’t paying her bills in Iowa and New Hampshire and her people are trashing rentals as they go, Obama’s people are recycling campaign signs.

While she’s busy complaining that Obama voted present in IL, (a standard strategy if you know how thinks work in IL), she chose to not even vote against giving Telco’s immunity for illlegaly recording your conversations.

You may think Hillary is the best choice, but she doesn’t stand a chance in the fall. Omaba does. Perhaps, M Miller, you WANT another republican?

It’s time to speak out about the politics of health. I am an ardent HILLARY CLINTON supporter, for many reasons. I sincerely believe that she is the most qualified candidate to lead the country – based in no small part on her remarkable record of public service, her depth of character and her unparalleled, intimate knowledge of the workings of the our government at the executive level. We have a rare opportunity to make a superb choice for President, and it must be HILLARY CLINTON.

But first a few words to claims that electing HILLARY will mean more of the “same old thing”. I, for one, would relish a return to the prosperity of the 1990’s – and urge all of you who appreciate a balanced budget, economic growth and responsible governance to speak out in favor of HILLARY CLINTON, who can bring this back to us.

Equally important to me is the issue of health care. Here’s what I like about HILLARY and her intelligent approach to the obesity crisis: she wants to quality health coverage for all Americans via a 7-step strategy for lowering spiraling costs. I know all too well that premiums have almost doubled since 2000 – up 87 percent – as I provide health insurance for my company’s employees, and my family. We need Senator Clinton’s plan to cover all Americans because it will require the reform of our often irrational, inefficient and wasteful policies. She’s been through the wars on this issue, and can get it passed.

I implore all of you who feel the same as I do to speak out, get involved and be active in your support of HILLARY CLINTON – help her get elected, and she will help all of us live well.
