Halloween in Atlanta is a time for having fun, dressing up and experiencing plenty of scary thrills (such as the Netherworld Haunted House, which is ranked the best haunted house in America).
As you begin to plan out your costume, or if you need a few more items-—say a hat or a wig-—to complete your look, stop by the shops listed below for inspiration and supplies.
Many of the stores in the following lists I’ve been to, but not all. I’m putting together my own costume right now. In my experience, good costumes require planning, creativity and trips to a variety of stores. Some people prefer to buy already-made costumes. Whatever your style, these stores are your best bet for Halloween in Atlanta.

Atlanta Costume Norcostco – Ansley Mall Northeast Atlanta
2089 Monroe Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30324 404-874-7511
Be careful getting in and out of the small parking lot of the Atlanta Costume building. Once you do, check out authentic costumes. On my trip, a hard-working woman with a great spirit helped me out. Several other Norcostco stores exist in cities such as Dallas, Los Angeles and Denver.
