Megadeth has announced that their forthcoming thirteenth album, not-coincidentally titled TH1RT3EN, will be in stores November 1, just in time for Christmas.
Fuck, man. The summer is almost over. I’m not ready for winter yet. Not by a long shot..
Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, according to a press release, “is incredibly proud of the music put forth on the new recording,” and had this to say: “This record is the culmination of my work over the 13 records I recorded. There are moments on TH1RT3EN that capture my every emotion, and other moments where I am releasing feelings I never knew existed! My proudest moments of my musical career are captured on TH1RT3EN.”
The new album marks the first new studio recording to feature bassist Dave Ellefson since 2002’s Rude Awakening.
TH1RT3EN was recorded at Mustaine’s Vic’s Garage studio in San Marcos, California with producer Johnny K (full name: John Karkazis), who has previously worked with Disturbed, Staind, and Machine Head.
