The second A Pale Horse Named Death album is coming.
The band, founded by Sal Abruscato of Type O Negative and Life of Agony, will release its sophomore album on May 27 through Steamhammer/SPV.
The new album will be mastered on January 17 by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in New York City.
Says Abruscato: “I can now say with satisfaction that we have created a very deep, dark, sonically brutal album. I can’t wait for all of you wonderful fans to hear it.”
Sal says “The sound has evolved and become a bit more orchestrated. More harmony work has been done on this album, including new elements such as a Hammond B3 organ and piano. To me, the album has an even darker sound and feel than the first one.”
You may recall that A Pale Horse Named Death’s album And Hell Will Follow Me came out in 2011.
Has there ever been a Type O tribute band? If so, I think they should call themselves Type AB Negative.
