Piracy seems to be the hardest word
Piracy is bad! And you know why? Because the word ‘piracy’ is far too sexy and appealing, and makes people think of Johnny Depp camping it up as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. And that’s why they do it, apparently.
If you believe the entertainment industry then piracy has had a very destabilizing effect on sales. It’s not strictly true, of course, and you can argue that file-sharing isn’t piracy at all, but merely two parties sharing something which, at some point, was bought and paid for. Hollywood certainly seems to be doing fine, with box-office receipts up year-on-year. And maybe the music industry needed a good shakeup, with the idea of all-controlling record labels better suited to the 1960s than today.
Regardless, piracy is here to stay, although it may not always be called piracy. According to Ars Technica, Agnete Haaland, the president of the International Actors’ Federation, recently said:
We should change the word piracy. To me, piracy is something adventurous, it makes you think about Johnny Depp. We all want to be a bit like Johnny Depp. But we’re talking about a criminal act. We’re talking about making it impossible to make a living from what you do.
Change the word and people will instantly stop file-sharing online, obviously. Or how about spending some time thinking about why people share music, movies, and games over the Internet in the first place and working out sensible and workable decisions to prevent. Now there’s an idea.

Yes, newspeech. In Holland we had the same thing for words depicting bad neighborhoods and immigrants. It didn’t change a thing.

One person pays a few other million download it from you free. So yes is %100 true.
There’s no way in hell you can stop piracy. Piracy is impossible to be stop. Unless you into video games and own a PLAYSTATION 3. Anything else is hack.
I consider piracy a good thing for some form of entertainment like music and movie plus even video games. The people that do this work make tons of profits they just want every single bit. Which they should get but still.
Why in the hell do actors mostly get pay more then 5 million for a movie they should get less. The actors are winning lottery tickets from stupid Hollywood studios.
