Apple to launch new products on Sept 12?

By Staff reporters

Is Apple set to launch new wireless iPods and new desktop iMacs with Core 2 Duo Processors and the option of a 23-inch LCD screen? Rumours on the Internet are abuzz with talk that September 12 is the date it will all happen. See http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=34… for more information… although given the proximity to the five year anniversary of September 11, it seems unlikely. Unless Apple is planning on releasing new products during January’s MacWorld (and missing out on the entire holiday buying season), we’ll either see new products later this month, or sometime the next. The only thing is, with Apple, it’s very hard to tell! :-) Fingers crossed there’s new Apple stuff soon, especially as Intel’s new ‘Core 2 Duo’ chips for desktops and notebook computers have started appearing in a range of other brands.
