Powerful digital camera

By Staff reporters

While most digital camera makers offer digital cameras to cater to all price points, from entry-level to the absolute high-end, Canon is a company that excels at doing this really well.

Case in point is the new PowerShot A710IS – boasting the latest features, while still conveniently powered by AA alkaline (or rechargeable) batteries, removing the worry of flat batteries with AA’s available just about anywhere!

Inside is an impressive Canon 6x optical zoom lens, with 7.1 megapixels so you can easily create photo quality prints up to A3 size or crop photos and retain the detail.

New to the PowerShot range is the addition of an Optical Image Stabilizer (IS) at last. IS enables steadier shooting and is particularly helpful when using the 6x optical zoom.

It naturally takes video clips as well at 640×480, there’s a series of versatile shooting modes and a range of accessories including lens adaptors, rechargeable batteries, a water proof casing and more! At AUD $549 it’s a versatile camera that offers a lot of features you’ll see on higher-end cameras – without the higher price tag – and it still works with AA batteries! :-)
