Coming later today… lotsa new stuff!

By Staff reporters

What’s the new world-first Lexus Hybrid all-wheel drive like? Well, just like driving a great luxury car with the smooth ride you’d expect. When you start the car, there’s no audible turning of the engine – it’s done with electric power! A fuller report with some photos this week. There’ll also be an update on Windows Vista, some new Epson products, a report on what it’s like to actually play with and use the Nintendo Wii (read it above!) along with photos with me and others in action on the latest motion-controlled games including driving, sports, fishing, Zelda and more.

I was very lucky to be part of an exclusive sneak-peek in Sydney with a number of other tech journalists – and the quick wrap is that it’s unbelievably fun and is the most innovative gaming experience I’ve played in years! Everyone was impressed – there’s no doubt this will be one of THE great gadgets of 2006 and at the price of $399, it’ll definitely find its way into many a Christmas stocking.

It’s late – very late – as I type – so more in the morning. So much tech, so little time – if only Apple would invent the iTime-Travel! Or the iTimeSlowdown. Or even the iCloner – I could use another me. See you on the flipside!
