Reclaim your old game
By George Gardner
Have you ever wanted to go back to the past so you could play your old computer games? Maybe you lost the 720kb or 1.44mb disk; or maybe you threw it away because it was damaged from overuse or just plain sat around too long. Reclaim your old game at OldGames.nu: the ultimate abandonware place.
OldGames.nu is the Internet’s largest collection of old freeware, shareware, and abandonware games. Using a point system, where each point is the equivalent of 3 megabytes, you can download games without paying a dime.
Receiving points (download credit) is as easy as posting topics in the group forum; this method ensures that all users play an active role within the oldgames.nu community. Members can also earn points by reviewing games, submitting cheats, posting solutions, and writing guides. For new users, four bonus points can be earned by adding OldGames.nu to your favorites list; this will, in tern, give you 12MB of downloading credit to start. Don’t let it fool you; 12MB is a lot in the world of old games.
Aside from offering old PC games, OldGames.nu has a healthy selection of games across 20 platforms including: Amiga, Atari, Commodore 64, Lynx, Mac, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and more. Games can be searched and sorted by genre, publisher, year, and name to assist you in finding a title in their library of over 45,000 games!
Support is offered for getting those extremely old games to play on newer operating systems. Some games require emulators (such as NES games) to play, while most will play by modifying the shortcut to run in Windows 95 or 98 compatibility mode.

That’s such a great idea. I’ve seen other old games sites before, but this one sounds like it has a sense of warmth and homeliness (awwww…)
