100% drag and drop web page design

Imagine being able to create your own web page, without knowing any code, just by dragging and dropping images and text over a screen. This is what Virtual Mechanics had in mind when creating WebDwarf.
WebDwarf V2.0 is a completely free utility that offers 100% drag and drop editing (down to the pixel) allowing you to publish web pages in minutes with absolutely no background in HTML. The user interface is as simple as a word processor; although, behind the scenes, there is some serious coding going on.
Objects on your page, similar to an image editing program, can be sorted and positioned using only your mouse. Unlike many other programs of this nature, WebDwarf uses CSS to create the page. This gives you the option to “overlap” objects such as images and text; whereas, this would not be possible using a program that is strictly HTML based.
WebDwarf also had advanced users in mind; clicking the code button, within the software, allows you to insert your own code anywhere in the document. The code is treated as an object until the document is rendered or previewed.
Once you complete your layout; you can set up WebDwarf to automatically publish (upload) your page to your webhost. This prevents you from the hassle of creating directories, uploading images, using proper links on your page to refer back to the images, and dealing with hard to manage FTP software.
This software gives you the ability to easily incorporate advanced design methods within your pages such as adding animations or creating roll over effects with your buttons and links, and don’t let the “free” part scare you; this is a serious program that is well worthy of some serious attention. WebDwarf will not embed any advertisements into your page or leave you thinking that there must be a “catch.”

Well I want to thank you for highlighting this useful resource! I will be investigation this and if as intuitive and easy as you say will be spending the next bit of time re-designing my personal website which has become someone problematic to deal with due to my own limitations with html programming and lack of design software to simplify the process for me!
If I find it worthwhile and am able to re-build my site to something more savvy I will get back in touch to give you a little example to back up your article! What the heck – making one’s work the “guinea pig” may prove a delightful new adventure into a more advanced level of web design for me!

I’m in the process of designing a very simple website using Webdwarf. Problem is that while it displays properly in Firefox and Safari, it doesn’t in Internet Explorer or Opera – the text starts about 3/4 of the way down the page. Any way to get them both to display properly?
