The interesting new web site, SpaceCoalition.com aims to increase our support of the nation’s vision for space exploration and define the plan for the United States exploration of space. Their plan covers completing the International Space Station, building next generation space vehicles, and outlines upcoming missions to the moon – including traveling to mars and beyond!

Their site provides detailed information about the nation’s approach to the space exploration plan, and also has a direct link to http://www.SpaceAdvocate.com, which is a new online tool where guests can receive information about current space legislation.

The idea is to keep the public informed of space exploration’s goals and benefits, detailing exactly why we should be supporting their vision to space, and supports the United States in remaining a leader in space, science, and technology.  “The Internet is an integral part of the Coalition’s plan to communicate the importance of our nation’s Vision for Space Exploration, keep the public informed of the accomplishments made in achieving this Vision and how these milestones benefit everyone,” said Jeff Carr, chairman of the Coalition.

The Coalition claims the knowledge gained by exploring space will aid in advancing medical technologies, quality of life, and stimulate further education; several facts are provided to prove these claims and justify the existence of space programs.
