Steorn vows to deliver non-exhausting energy source in Orbo
By Triston McIntyre
How thrilled would you be if some crazy scientists came up with a completely free, non-exhausting source of energy that could be used to power your car, home, and cell phone? That is exactly what mysterious Intellectual Property development company Steorn is promising to deliver in the form of their “free energy technology,” (though the crazy part is still up for debate).
Steorn’s mysterious new technology known as “Orbo” claims to provide a source of constantly recycling, non-exhaustive energy that can be implemented in every technological and mechanical application.
Though Steorn hasn’t released very much information regarding their developmental technology, they have hinted:
“[Orbo] is based on the interaction of magnetic fields and allows the production of clean, free and constant energy. The technology can be applied to virtually all devices requiring energy, from cellular phones to cars.”
Steorn announced their ground-breaking technology last year, and invited 5000 scientists to test and validate the claims they have made regarding Orbo’s capabilities. Friday, Steorn will release an update regarding the results of the testing process thus far.
As appealing as Orbo’s potential sounds, many in the scientific and academic community are a bit skeptical. Many will wait to view the updates to the ongoing testing process, but many still believe that Orbo’s potential is overstated.
Before dismissing Steorn’s claims, consider the nature of science and research to date; scientific research is used to do two things:
1. create new hypotheses, theories, and laws that pertain to the nature of the universe
2. modify or restructure already-existent theories with new data
Though what Steorn claims may seem far-fetched, it is based on scientific principle. The notion of a zero-point energy field has been explored in the past, and perhaps Steorn has discovered the greatest implementation to date.
There’s nothing wrong with a little skepticism, but there’s no reason to not accept their claims as potentially true.
Consider the consequences if Steorn is right. The energy crisis would be solved, we wouldn’t be reliant on exhaustable natural resources, and the environment would no longer need fear the intrusion of natural resource seekers. The potential is unlimited.
If they’re full of monkey poo, then our lives go on as if nothing ever changed (because, well..it won’t have). Give ‘em a shot, and hear them out. If they’re full of poo, move on to another webpage. It won’t hurt much, I promise.
Update 1: I have modified my article due to the objections readers raised to my presentation of this article. I hope this is more satisfactory, and I apologize for any miscommunication or error.

The technology appears to me gathering energy from the zero-point energy field which is a known scientific principle. It appears that magnets allow the ZPE to be channeled into recognizable energy to perform work.
April 11th, 2007
Actually they are releasing an update to the still ongoing validation process.

Damn, you sure have your facts wrong and you don’t get it. For example: “opened their figurative doors to a group of 5000 scientists for testing and validity verification”. That’s wrong and shows you can’t even read a press release. Or: “This is a crude example, but it demonstrates the broad concept behind Steorn’s claim”. Nah, that’s not a crude example, it’s a stupid example and has nothing to do with what Steorn claims.
What ever happened to good journalism? *sigh…*

“There’s nothing wrong with a little skepticism, but there’s no reason to not accept their claims as potentially true.”
Except for the fact that it is impossible! Wow, are you people idiots!
April 11th, 2007
Tom,
I’m not particularly fond of you either, but I wasn’t going to say so. Also, unless you are God…I don’t think you or any of us have the right to say what is in the realm of possibility, frankly
April 11th, 2007
Triston, Oh my god! You are in the “nothing is impossible” camp. Or “You Just Got To Believe” camp.
Ok, then I guess it is possible to go faster than the speed of light and go back in time and transport from one location to another and make gold from lead and read peoples minds and……..
April 11th, 2007
No, Tom, I’m from the camp that remembers that no one believed understood general relativity, or understood the nature of quantum physics..until someone said something. Science evolves by nature. Its a learning process. Or are you part of the “the world is flat and that is that” camp?
April 11th, 2007
Triston, I see you point but lets not forget 100s of years of PM claims and 1000s of all magnet motors that did not work. There are 1800 free energy videos on Google. Where are the products on the market? The chances of this being real are a billion to 1. You said “but there’s no reason to not accept their claims as potentially true.” and I totally disagree.
I would have continued to believe the world was flat until someone had 100% proof it was not. Steorn has shown NOTHING!!!!
April 11th, 2007
Ah, but to what avail? Why not wait and see what they have to say Friday? Disbelief prior to proof gets you nowhere except a satisfaction in knowing you don’t readily believe things you haven’t seen.
April 11th, 2007
So if I said I had invented a transporter and would demo it next August you would believe me until then?

Mary Yugo,
Sean McCarthy and his employees are completely and totally confident their technology is indeed legitimate. They have been quietly working on their technology for well over three years and know for a fact is is real. In addition to building countless test rigs themselves (of various sizes) that clearly demonstrate the excess energy produced they have allowed university scientists to test their technology. All the tests that have been performed repeatedly show the technology is real.
To be precise, they do not only claim to have produced a device that produces excess energy, but that they have constructed completely self-powered devices that do not require input energy at all. These devices are simply powered by a unique interaction of magnetic fields (from permanent magnets) and nothing else. There can be no measurement error involved as some try to claim. These devices utilizing only permanent magnets power themselves and perform work.
Currently, they have in production a “validation” product that will be sold from their website. According to Steorn, this product will be launched when their jury of top-notch scientists from around the world are ready to come fourth with a verdict. Steorn will have allowed these jury members to examine the technology in great detail. Actually, Steorn has put the jury members in charge of the entire process. The jury members have full control over all aspects of the “trial” including how long it lasts, what they see, how much testing the want to perform, etc. When these scientists (the most qualified and most skeptical Steorn could find) come forward everyone should listen to what they have to say.
The reason they are so carefully preparing a multithreaded validation approach is due to the intense skepticism they are expecting to encounter. By selling 100,000 units of a validation product and at the same having a jury of scientists confirm the technology is real they hope to successfully overcome that skepticism. At that time they will begin licensing the technology to interested companies and open up the “Steorn Private Developers Club” to the public.
It’s obvious to me they have developed a well thought out plan to overcome the skepticism they will be facing and have been facing since they launched their website several months ago. Without a doubt, it’s a good thing they did not suddenly release their technology to the world several months ago. Because regardless of the reality of their technology it would not have been accepted by the scientific community. Remember, to 99% of scientists on this planet the idea of an over unity device is absolute heresy of the worst kind. Only with meticulous preparation and overwhelming proof of the technology’s validity will they be able to rapidly convince the world the technology is real.
New and revolutionary ideas are typically met with hostility by the scientific community despite their legitimacy. Steorn recognized this long ago and are putting together one overwhelmingly strong collection of evidence in support of their technology. On “Validation Day” the world will have access to this evidence.
That day is coming this year. Be ready.
After researching their company carefully it’s my conclusion that they are a real company with a revolutionary new technology.

Just released today, Sean McCarthy speaks about his technology.

For the first time since it was first conceived in 1933, the nuclear chain reaction finally will be rendered obsolete.
The world can only rejoice.

Mary Yugo writes,
I’ve seen that video and it’s really bad. It has absolutely no information content and is completely self serving. Worse yet, it makes empty promises for future revelations– the hallmark of self delusion or scams. I’ve also looked at a number of older videos including some of the equipment and the claims.
Basically, the claim is that if you move magnets in a powerful magnetic field following a certain proprietary route/pattern, you generate more energy than you put in. Nothing is said about the form of this extra energy.
If it were true, it would be extremely easy to demonstrate. One way would be to convert the energy to electricity and simply route the output back to the input until the device ran itself without any external power. That sort of demo could be verified in hours (at most days) without a big scientific panel and years of “experiments”, as Steorn claims are required.
There are very precise meters, for example Xantrex’s instruments, to measure power, especially direct current or with filters at low frequencies.
If it were not possible to convert excess energy to electricity, it should be simple to convert it to heat (that’s a very common way energy is often released, even when the heat is not wanted). In that case, a fairly simple calorimeter (such as the Thermonetics Seebeck Effect barrier instrument) could be used to demonstrate the heat. This is what is done, for example, when trying to demonstrate “cold fusion”.
My point is that demonstrating energy production by a process need not be complex nor difficult and in general, requires no understanding of how the process works. It doesn’t take months or years and dozens of experts to do that– that’s silly and suggests either ignorance or fraud.

Really? Show us just *one* properly done experiment of this type. None has been brought foward. Why?
“Remember, to 99% of scientists on this planet the idea of an over unity device is absolute heresy of the worst kind. Only with meticulous preparation and overwhelming proof of the technology’s validity will they be able to rapidly convince the world the technology is real. ”
First, scientists don’t use the term “heresy”– it’s a religious concept. If overunity technology is real, it’s so dramatic in terms of usefulness and in changing physics, that any convincing demonstration that it works would spark worldwide attention and interest. A clear demonstration would require NO convincing. Your assertion is nonsense.
“New and revolutionary ideas are typically met with hostility by the scientific community despite their legitimacy.”
It’s true that many scientists are threatened by new ideas. But most are not– they’re simply tired of wasting time with the same old scams, errors, and fraud. Anyway there’s no “scientific community” when something like this is concerned. If the “technology” were released, everyone would look at it and there would be no hiding the truth if it worked– you really think the documentary news services and public networks like PBS would conspire to hide free energy? You can’t be that gullible!
“Steorn recognized this long ago and are putting together one overwhelmingly strong collection of evidence in support of their technology. On “Validation Day” the world will have access to this evidence. ”
I am willing to bet you that one self-serving contentless news interview will follow another until everyone tires. Want to bet a good cup of coffee?
“That day is coming this year. Be ready.”
Don’t hold your breath unless blue is your best color.

Hey, I’m keeping an open mind. Talk of zero-point energy devices date back to Tesla’s days, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s impossible. I find it quite arrogant for us as humans to think we’ve discovered all the secrets of the universe and that our “laws” of nature are infallible.
But let’s see what happens in July!

How long does it take tens, of not hundreds of bright scientists to evaluate a system and come up with only one of two possible answers – i)It works ii) It does not work?
January 13th, 2009
the only idiots here are the one that believe what the very people that don’t want them to have this kind of information tells them, the LAW of thermodynamics is false and was made up to specifically discredit people like this, you don’t you skeptical people put your money where your mouth is and stop swallowing every thing you are told by crooks.
There is a big difference between true intelligence and just plain old book smarts, think for your selves people, they are not going to hand us this technology, it will be up to us to make it happen.
I have doubled my fuel mileage with a negatively charged water fuel cell known as the Joe cell, so no skeptical person is going to tell me the law of thermodynamics is true when I have seen it proven false.
Also if any one is capable of thinking for them selves they would understand that atoms themselves go against the so called law of thermodynamics, there is a constant spin with no input of energy and no entropy, and it puts out electromagnetic energy.
Think for your selves people, our freedom depends upon you to give your heads a shake and WAKE UP.
Look up the suppression of over unity energies, look up the war on cold fusion. WAKE UP PEOPLE.
I am getting so tired of people that think there so smart because they memorized 100 year old text books that what written by the very people that just want power and control.
I have done the work as well as this fella here, we are telling you and many are willing to share the information freely, the burden of proof is now on you guys to prove us wrong.

Analyzing Steorn technology is like analyzing Star Trek technology. Amusing, but a solid waste of time.
