Seems the only company that is going to kill the ipod is Apple… The iphone will be a sucess at the expence of the ipod…

I have a Crackberry, and I’d rather have the iphone; no WiFi, no music player, no widescreen touch display..simplicity. There’s a plethora of features that Blackberry’s don’t have. Secondly, Mac fans aren’t outraged; they’re dissapointed. Its hard to be outraged when you already have the best operating system available on the market. Vista would like to be Tiger, but it won’t; Leopard will only put Tiger and Vista to shame. We are just a little downcast…not outraged.

I’d rather have Leopard on time than the iPhone, don’t even get me started on the iPhone, it’s so feature limited (pretty… yes) that I would rather buy a BlackBerry (it’s not as attractive but far far more functional though it lacks a hard drive). Take the iPhone features combine those with the BlackBerry and build them all into the iPhone with the hard drive and then you’ll have something.

Leopard wins… (IMO) Leopard or a Widescreen wireless enabled iPod, I would take either… I’d take just about ANYTHING instead of the iPhone.

Apple Fan, don’t shoot the messenger. Apple has effectively issued a press release that states that the on time launch of the iPhone is a bigger priority than the launch of Leopard. I quote “Life often presents tradeoffs”.

This has, understandably, annoyed some Mac fans, who might I add, supported Apple through the tough times so that it could build boy toys like the iPod and the iPhone.

That’s the story; Microsoft and Vista are a completely separate issue.

This is absolute rubbish James. Vista was delayed so many times it’s not funny. I’d prefer to have a stable Leopard release of OS X, rather than have a half-baked OS like Vista. A few extra months doesn’t make very much difference.
