At least when compared to users of other email services like Yahoo! or Hotmail. Let’s face it, Gmail is cool and if you aren’t using Gmail then you aren’t cool, you probably aren’t as young and probably don’t make as much money when compared to a user of Gmail. This of course, is not all inclusive but the data suggests this is the truth for most Gmail users.

In the survey, over half of Gmail users were 18 to 34 years old and 18% had a high household income between $100,000 and $150,000. Also, they tended to have a Facebook account and were generally early adopters of technology.

I use Gmail; I hate Facebook so obviously they can’t include me in that part of the statistic. I think Facebook is a waste, it and services like it will be the downfall of civilization as we know it. People don’t want to interact in person any more, why meet you face to face when it’s possible to IM (Instant Message for the elders in the audience) or video chat.

As for the household income, I don’t have to share that with you so I’ll just leave you to your own devices to figure that one out.

I can’t give you more money or make you young but do yourself a favor and sign up for a Gmail account, my friends know it’s the only way I’ll chat online, I don’t like AIM and I hate just about every other IM service there is. Google Talk is just a little more exclusive than the others so it’s easier to control who you do or don’t talk to.

Now then Gmail users, it’s up to use to evangelize the rest of the world and make those silly Hotmail and Yahoo! users see the error of their ways. The power of Gmail compels you! The power of Gmail compels you! Yes, friends, it’s not too late, you too can be saved from the tyranny of your errorous ways!

AOL users… are beyond help, their souls are lost and there is no redemption from AOL. There is hope for everyone else.
