Firefox was a WHOLE lot faster in it's v2 days but ever since v3 and especially v3.5, it became slower and slower. Even after disabling all add-ons and plugins except flash/shockwave and java it's loading times are comparatively slower to previous v2 releases.

Can anyone recommend a new browser which is very simple but compatible with flash/shockwave/java other than IE/Firefox?

Maxthon just didn't do it for me. I didn't quite see the point behind it. It was like IE+Junk.

Sensationalist tommyrot.

Why even write this thing, if, in the end, you are going to come back to sensibility.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Firefox, and you know it. What is wrong is people abusing it with all sorts of extensions and then complaining.

Firefox is built for simplicity. Some people have no extensions. There are dozens of ways to muck it up.
