AT&T and Apple have at long last revealed the service plans for iPhone; well, they couldn’t have delayed much longer, with the iPhone due to go on sale at 6pm this Friday. The good news is that plans are straightforward and good value, which will come as a big relief to iPhone fans.

Despite the US being a first world country, it is still lacking fast broadband as seen by the likes of South Korea, Japan or Finland. Of course, those countries are smaller so it’s easier to deploy faster Internet more quickly than it is in the US.

With Mandriva and others rejecting Microsoft’s Linux payoff deal, there is a lot of talk lately about Microsoft’s new Patent Infringement Protection Plan and how it might not be the “you scratch our backs and we won’t stab you in yours” plan that it was initially thought to be.

Samsung, the world’s largest producer of high-capacity solid state drives (SSDs), has begun mass-producing its 1.8 inch SSD, with a 64 Gigabyte (GB) capacity, for notebook computers; this move brings SSDs one step closer to killing the conventional hard disk.

It isn’t every day that a family has their cell phone hijacked, much less three but that’s exactly what’s happening in the town of Fircrest, Washington. The families have been receiving death threats, phones that turn themselves on and off and text messages at all hours of the day and night.

The European Aeronautic Defence and Space (EADS) company and its subsidiary, Astrium, have at the Paris Air Show unveiled a model of a jet designed to take tourists into space. The space jet would be big enough to take four paying passenger in a trip that would last 90 minutes, including 3 minutes of weightlessness at an altitude of more than 100 kilometers.

Ebay recently pulled its ads from Google Adwords in a move that was being sold to the press as an ‘experiment,’ but appeared more to be an act of retaliation against the almighty Google. eBay has now resumed its advertising with Google, but says it will not put as much weight with Google Adwords since the breakup.

Sony has finally gotten around to upgrading the PSP. Those of you hoping for the much anticipated long rumored but so far vaporware PSP 2.0 will be disappointed. With the release of PSP Firmware 3.50, the PSP got an upgrade under the hood.
