		<description>All that meant was that Germany likes keeping itself aloof in some regards to maintain certain aspects of its culture.  I realize US and European markets are different.  Thanks for the comment.</description>

And the claims are for Germany because Deutsche Telekom is a German company, who operate in other countries, such as the UK, as T-Mobile. It&#039;s highly likely that Apple want to do a pan-European deal if possible. I&#039;m not sure why they&#039;d start with Germany when other European markets are bigger and potentially more receptive to Apple products, and the iPhone.

Anyway, AT&amp;T lockdown for 5 years in the US has nothing to do with how other territories get the iPhone.</description>
