Over 60% of iPhones potentially have bad batteries

By Jonathan Schlaffer

Over 60% of iPhones potentially have bad batteries There are several reviews out there that say the iPhone’s battery life isn’t so great. Maybe now, all of us have the reason we’ve been looking for. Wirelessinfo acquired three iPhones and two of them have faulty batteries.

Testing done by Wirelessinfo included charging all three iPhones to full capacity, draining them and then charging them again. After 12 hours of charging two of the phones never reached a full charge. One phone, which presumably had the good battery, reached a full charge in 4 hours.

What’s not known right now is if this is a widespread problem or is limited to a certain batch of iPhones. Also, any number of things could be to blame for the poor battery life, the easiest answer is the battery itself but this could also be a problem with the circuits that charge and monitor battery life.

All is not lost, Apple is still swapping out bad iPhones if you happen to end up with one just head back to the Apple store and they will hand you a new one. I wish I could say the same for the unlucky person that happens to get a faulty MacBook.

      dude, that’s a sample of 3 out of 1,000,000. That’s laughable data.
