I’m using an ipod nano because it is cheap and I can go jogging with it.

If the next Zune has something comprable, then I might get it, but otherwise, I’m sticking with the ipod and will probably get a new one when they next increase the storage (assuming it remains as small).

By the way, I am cashing checks from Redmond…

I own a Shuffle, iPhone and Zune. Typical apple folks posting comments here… my Zune is a fantastic DAP and performs the basics just as well as an iPod. Now, if they do open up the wireless capabilities it will be in a league of its own – that is until the next iPod comes out.

Zune is another junk product from MS buggy ..needs rebooting to make the player work.. freezes up just doesnt catch on fire like xbox360 another junk from MS. MS should just stick to making msoffice rest they should sell off. The real music player is IPOD or IPHONE ..IPHONE IS SWEET.

Just because I’m anti iPod (not anti-Apple, and i’m anti-iPod for many reason not including DRM issues) doesn’t mean I’m pro Microsoft, I’m just interested in any possible innovation in the non-apple DAP industry.

First Danny hate to burst your bubble but you just qouted a guy alking about a 3rd generation ipod. I am pretty sure Apple is up to its 5th generation now so your facts are outdated and thus not credible. I already have an ipod because at the time of purchase (about 2 years ago) there was no other significant player in the HD based mp3 player arena that I liked. Sure the Zune has some nice features though pretty ugly but none of those features make me want to jump out and buy a new mp3 player. Unless they fully unlock wifi. Plus last time I checked the Zune and Ipod were of similar prices so drop the Apple is a cash hog thing cause so is Microsoft.

I took your comment seriously until that point. Oh well, punting for Microsoft makes you look as stupid as punting for Apple. If you dislike the iPods because of Apple’s DRM then you must be one seriously deluded fucker if you think that Microsoft will be any more liberal with their product.

I didn’t use my iPod mini for a few months and put it back in the box. One day, I try to turn it on and it wont turn on even after being on the charger all night. Looks like the battery died completely and I have only used it a few times. I tried every troubleshooting and resetting option and no luck. And my only option is to break the seal to replace the battery or it is a piece of junk. No removable battery means apple design sucks. No iPhone for me. Apple products suck.
