MySpace bans the letter "i"

By Jonathan Schlaffer

MySpace bans the letter "i" I was never a fan of any social networking site and MySpace and FaceBook top the list of sites I will never use and never have an account on, just because I don’t like them.  Something unusual has happened on MySpace in recent days, the letter “i” has been inexplicably blocked in all posts.

The reason for this is unknown but it could be the MySpace team doing it or it could be a bunch of teenage hackers running around saying “dude, this is awesome, look how stupid these posts look with “i” in them, it’s hilarious.”  Or not.  The details regarding the block are not available so it could be just about anything at this point.

Though, “i” can still be used in the title of a post, it cannot be used in the body.  Mashable thinks that the persons behind MySpace are simply sick of all the iPhone coverage so those posts simply become ..Phone posts.

It’s funny and weird at the same time.  But this is what you get for using a social networking site as bad as MySpace.
