AT& T carries Motorazr2 v9 as well Despite having a killer phone in its fold already, the iPhone, AT&T still wants a share of the growing popularity of the Motorazr2 v9 among US mobile users. AT&T has announced that it will also be carrying Motorola’s sleek follow up to the v3xx series.

The  Motorazr2 v9 comes with the following features: a 3G High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), 2 megapixel camera, large 2.0-inch QGVA color external display with touch-sensitive keys, bluetooth stereo wireless technology and 45MB of end user memory with expansion slot for microSD card.

Set to be released in September with an SRP of $299, the Motorazr2 V9 is set to do battle with the iPhone which was also recently released by AT&T carrier.

With the Motorazr2 V9 in the AT&T fold, some features exclusive to AT & T has been added to the  Motorazr2 to make it more appealing to US mobile phone users. These features include:  dedicated one click hardkey for AT&T’s cellular video on demand service, At & T mobile music and mobiTV capability.

With all these power packed features and the not so expensive price tag, the question now is, can the Motorazr2 V9 take on the iPhone?

The truth is that comparing the Motorazr2 v9 with Apple’s iPhone is like comparing apples with oranges. I could just imagine Steve, if somebody asked him whether the Motorazr can take on his iPhone, saying – “next please.”
