I think it deserves a 4/5 but once the new design comes out its just going to keep getting better and better, I’m sure in enough time there will be other phones to top the iphone.

I think ipod touch deserves 5/5 it is a great device. It never let me down.

I bought my touchscreen a few days ago, the screen went black and white, I contacted my supplier they happily have taken it back but i am still waiting …., But i agree with the scratch proof top notch but i my friend also had this error have you guys had this aswell?

I forgot to mention, previous iPod models used plastic for the screen. That scratched very easily and REQUIRED a screen protector, otherwise it would get filled with scratches quickly.

I’ve only had my iPod Touch for a week, but it seems that the building materials for this new version of the iPod are of much higher quality. For example, the screen is made of real, scratch-resistant glass. I don’t use a screen protector, and I carry it in my pocket all the time as well as touch the screen all the time. It hasn’t scratched yet, or at least it hasn’t scratched enough for me to notice (and I notice such things very, very easily as I like my gadgets in perfect condition).

I have a question. Does this touch ipod break easily? Im not talking about scratches, but the actual funtion. Ive already been through 2 ipods. a mini and a nano, 2nd gen. the mini lasted 8 months and the nano lasted 11 months. so i have never celebrated any of my ipods birthdays, just their funerals. The songs would not play anymore and the battery would only last a couple hours, even when i have charged them for at least 3 hours and it said ‘charged’ on the screen of the ipod. I have treated both my ipods with the upmost respect possible. I really want to get a new music player, but i wasnt sure what because i wanted some sort of ipod but i was afraid it would break down on me again. Now i found the perfect ipod but im not sure if i should get it because it might just break down again. so please reply and tell me about this ipod.

Seems more and more reviewers are giving the iPod touch 5/5 despite its flaws (some lack of functionality, especially compared to the iPhone). I’ll have to wait and see and write a review when I get mine!
