This rebating is a joke in my eyey. First Apple gets hyped for bringing the iPhone to the early adopters and then they kick these in the nuts by cutting the price by $200.

I mean Apple lives from these very early adopter people that massively spread the word about a new product. And that is what happened. You can see it in the blogs.

So much for this being a rebate. It’s really Apple pretending to be contrite, but ensuring they will get a second bite out of you, having ripped you off once already.
