Official: Microsoft’s Zune 2.0 and Flash Zune w/ Wi-Fi sync

It’s finally official, the long rumored Zune 2.0 finally got legs today in both HDD and flash modes, and they look very similar to the "leaked" Zune pictures bouncing around the Internet.
Slashgear has the info on the new Zunes, officially named the Zune 2.0 and Flash Zune. The larger, black Zune 2.0 comes with 80GB of hard drive goodness priced at $249. The smaller Flash Zunes come in 4GB ($149) and 8GB ($199) flavors colored in black, green, pink, or red. But you haven’t heard the best of this yet.
The players tout that very special feature Zune owners around the world wanted with the first generation Zune. The players can automatically sync with your computer over Wi-Fi whenever it comes within reach of your home network. Hear that Apple? Wireless sync.
The Electronista reports in with a few more details. For one, the restrictions placed on wireless sharing have been alleviated. Microsoft ditched the 3-3 rule, allowing you to only receive up to 3 songs but only allowing you to play each song 3 times. The new rules for wireless sharing still allow you to only share 3 songs but those songs can be played an unlimited number of times on the guest Zune.
Microsoft also issued a firmware update for the older Zunes and inroduced the Zune Social, a social network focused on discovering and sharing music. Last, but not least, the software giant added DRM-free MP3 tracks to the Zune Market Place.
