To tell you the truth, the kid might of obviously had common sense issues, I could be so depressed from a video game and I wouldn’t kill myself. I mean the kid probably exaggerated his own problems to the point where he though of suicide which is really a huge issue that a 10 year old would kill himself. And all these parents grieve and blame video games which is really not a reasonable blame at all.

Natural Selection indeed. I wouldn’t suicide over any video game though. A bit to old for that, and i would result in beating my parents ass and stealing handcuffing them to a banister before so I could play my games before i would consider leaping from a building. But if the kid was 10 i see his predicament.

Noone should even think about suicide when a little thing like that happens. I mean come on. He would of got his games back when he was good and it isn’t the end of the point in living. My opinion is that he must of had depression to even think of doing something like that. He was being bad in class which was another depression sign. Depression can effect any age group. Noone thinks of suicide for nothing. The person is right… Where were the parents and why didn’t they try talking to the child? My opinion so please don’t be nasty to me.

My only question is this. What game was it? It very well may be worth it. If my parents denied me of something like Resident Evil 4, or the new GTA. Metal Gear solid 4, Empire Earth 2. I’d probably not only jump off the 19th floor, but the 23rd floor! Hell, even for Naruto, or Capcom Vs SNK I’d jump off the 10th. This story hardly analyzes the severity of the issues.
