Evidence: IPTV coming to your Xbox 360

Just because it’s evidence doesn’t mean it’s going to happen, so don’t get mad at us if your Xbox 360 never gets Microsoft’s IPTV. So what exactly is the evidence?
It comes in the form of four pictures from an Xbox 360 owner named Aaron posted on Xbox360 Fanboy (and if the picture below seems cut-off, try to “full screen” your browser).
The pictures show options for watching TV on your Xbox 360, which would fall in line with previous rumors indicating that Microsoft is working to bring IPTV to the console.
If the pictures are real, it’s likely the feature is a part of the fall update, which shouldn’t be too far off considering that we’re just entering the season. Here’s to hoping for that reality.

It’s not a rumor. Bill Gate’s himself announced in his Last Keynote Address at the Las Vegas C.E.S. 07, that in the FALL 2007, Xbox 360 would get IPTV. It is going to be delivered in the US through a partnership with AT&T, and in the UK through B.T. His archived Keynote address is probably still available on the Microsoft website.

too bad you won’t be able to hear your programs over the loud fan noise

Do you man fan noise as in all the people who bought the 360 and not the pswii? Because if so then I concur. Otherwise this will be a welcomed treat to those who already have best selling console of 2006/07 and best sellin games of oh say since 2002!

Come on! Admittedly it’s loud but not that loud. And surely you heard of AV receivers that can amplify you audio. If you have an x360, surely you want to invest in a nice TV (preferably HD) and a nice audio amplifier.
Dont be hating the x360.
