This seems to still be shining even for an old post.
Anyways heres my view on players who *ageplay* in secondlife.
Your views are vailed but on the same note anyone who plays secondlife is extreamly incapable of a normal social life or has messed up their lives so bad that they can only find *fun* in a game like this.
I do not condem people who play a digital and coded animated sceen in a video game but would be more angry if they did that kind of stuff in the real world.
If that really was the problem for a game based deploytation of age play then people have been living in the caveman days.
The net is filled with p2p (peer-to-peer) exchange, viral magazines and books called doujins and pictures massing far more then any normal human can count of lolicon, shorta toddlercon. All which are based on *ageplay* or child being hurt in one way shape, form, or another.
Corse with this said the gaming indusrty is the biggiest leading business in this centry.

Long story short is let a secondlife stay just that. a secondlife and focus more of issues in the real world.

Cause when it's a video game no one gets hurt but when it happens to a breathing person not made of a million fringments of data fragments, the trauma can and 96.5% will be ture and be there for life.

If you wish to avoid topics or things like this turn your computer into safemode and stay away from terms like shorta or child.

What were delving into here are mind crimes...but on the other hand that IS very wierd and shouldnt be messed with in the first place, real or virtual.

I am waiting for the brain implants; what a day that will be.

Weird stuff. A good medium like Second Life is always open to abuse.

IMHO, this is not harmless role playing because what you occupy your mind with can become reality.

Is this article referring to the very same reporter that logged into Second Life back in May when this story actually broke? Is this a slow news day?

Amazing how you "reporters" all hop on the bandwagon. Someone rehashed a 5 month old headline and every one of you reported this "New" news.
