23 year old Facebook founder runs office like college friday nights: CBS is old people
By Danny Mendez
Mark Zuckerberg was interviewed on 60 Minutes, and it turns out he runs his company like a college friday night party. Though a bit untraditional, it seems to get the job done.
The interview mentions a lot of stuff you probably already know about Facebook (including a nice summary of the Beacon issue), but it includes some very interesting behind the scenes footage of the Facebook staff hard at work.
Employees are allowed to arrive late, stay late, spend the night, and do their laundry (for free!) at the office. While at work, all food and drinks are on the house, and, of course, like every traditional workplace, a DJ spinning tracks should be expected when you walk through the front door.
A Harvard drop out, though far from a failure, Zuckerberg dodges some pretty significant questions in the geekiest and most awkward of manners during the interview with Lesley Stahl on CBS. As a 23 year old CEO, he’s not used to being drilled by reporters for facts, so, when when asked about subjects he’d rather not talk about, he does a terrible job tip-toeing around questions with non-answers.
Perhaps Steve and Bill should teach the kid or two a thing about PR, but, then again, he’s made himself worth $3 billion. We’re sure he could make it the rest of the way.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the extreme contrast between Zuckerberg, a young tech-saavy, businessman and Stahl, a much older, more old-fashioned gal. It’s easy to tell when Stahl asks about stuff that she knows nothing about. One question was just too obvious, “Well, they said you hacked. Did they punish you?” Then again, it’s CBS so it’s not like anyone noticed.

Must not watch much news there Danny do you? The reporter, and a very respected one at that, is Leslie Stahl, not Stahi.
