HTC Touch on Verizon in March?

By Danny Mendez

HTC Touch on Verizon in March? That’s the rumor, but it’s just that, a rumor. A Howard Forums member supposedly snapped a few blurry shots of the device, which begs the question: Why do spy-shots of secret products always have to be blurry?

We don’t know, but blurry or not, the pictures look legitimate. However, with Photoshop being such a powerful program nowadays, it’s hard to tell.

Either way, it looks like the Touch should hit Verizon Wireless stores in March. The Verizon version may be a bit thinner and lighter than the sprint version, and it only comes in white but more colors may become available in the future (which is likely since it’s happened before).

With the iPhone eating up cell phone customers like a dog would with beef jerky, we’re going to say this rumor is likely to be legit. Verizon knows consumers like touch screen devices, and this helps attract those who aren’t into the Voyager and the Venus, Verizon’s media/messaging-centric touch-screen phones.
