They both worked closely with Terry Semel (who is currently sitting on the board, cashing in his stock options.) They all bear a lot of responsibility for the current mess the company is in. Cutting the worker bees isn't necessarily improve things if the same guys who crashed the ship in the first place are still in command. The management isn’t really new. Yang is a founder. Our worldwide economy is in the ruts because of similar attitudes. Instead of fixing something it's always the wall street attitude of gut it and take the profits. Personally I've been disgusted with yahoo for many many years. But every time they bring in new management it seems to just get worse.
