Amazon offers two iPods for the price of one

By Opal Tribble

ipod-touch.jpg Amazon is currently offering two iPods for the price of one. When you purchase the 32GB iPod touch you’ll also score the tiny 1 GB iPod shuffle for free.

“Get a 1 GB shuffle for Free with This Purchase!
You qualify for a free 1 GB iPod shuffle with the purchase of this 32 GB iPod touch from Amazon.com. Eligible 1 GB shuffles include the blue, green, silver, and purple. Just add both items to your cart and you will not be charged for the shuffle.”

Apple released the 32GB iPod touch earlier this month doubling the memory from 16GB to 32GB. My second generation 8GB iPod is in desperate need of an upgrade. I ran out of memory a few months ago. The offer Amazon has is very appealing although I had no desire to purchase the iPod shuffle on its own I wouldn’t mind getting it for free. If you purchase the iPod touch through Amazon you actually save $5. Amazon currently has priced the 32GB iPod touch at $494. Apple is selling it for $499.

Featuring a 3.5 inch display the iPod touch allows you to listen to music, watch your favorite movies, or rent your favorite iTune movie rentals and music all while you are on the go. The ipod shuffle has a clip so you can clip it on clothing and listen to music while you’re on the go. The 1GB ipod shuffle price was slashed recently and sells for $49.
