So India Wanted to Intercept Email…
How many readers want their country to be able to easily read their emails? Hands? I didn’t think so. India has backed off its earlier threat to ban RIM’s(Research In Motion) Blackberry service because the government could not easily intercept emails sent from a Blackberry. The Indian Government came back to its senses but still wants to pressure RIM into providing the encryption codes to the government so that it can “eavesdrop” if it so desires.
Most Blackberry’s are used for business. Businesses want their emails to be secure and difficult to read. If India insists on being able to read all Blackberry emails, then businesses are going to avoid using the Blackberry Service. Beyond that however is the issue of the Indian Governments demand to be able to snoop at will through business emails. This affects not just Blackberry but other services as well. The use of any Palm, Symbian, Windows Mobile, and iPhone smart phone will potentially be required to be open to Government interception and spying.
India’s insistence on reading emails sent by phone, implies that they already have easy access to emails and other information sent over the Internet or that they will soon seek easy access. This type of government interference makes businesses question the security of their interactions and customers question the security of their purchases.
In contrast, Australia recently declared that RIM had passed all of the security requirements of the Australian Defense Signals Directorate (DSD). RIM worked closely with the DSD to make sure that all security requirements were met and all security as tight as possible.
India is a huge market and as such creates a strong incentive for businesses to market their services and products. If the Indian government decides that a company must bend to its will, many companies will comply. It will be interesting to see how RIM addresses the government’s concern while still providing a high level of security for all of its users.

My name is Joel Levy the son of Late Chief Levy Michael the former Director General of the Sieria Leone Diamond Mining Cooperation (SLDMC). I am contacting you to seek your good assistance to transfer and invest 8,300,000.00 US Dollars belonging to my late father, which was deposited in one of the famous Security Company In The Gambia as Family Treasure.
This money is revenue from solid minerals and diamonds sales that were under my father’s possession before the civil war broke out in our country Sierra-Leone.Following the brake out of the war, almost all government offices, cooperation’s and parastatals were attacked and vandalized. The SLDMC was loathed and burnt down to ashes, and diamonds worth millions of
dollars was stolen by the rebel military forces that attacked SLDMC Office.
Many top government officials and senior army officers were assassinated and my father was a key target because of his very sensitive position and appointment in the SLDMC. Regrettably, my father was captured and murdered along with my half sister in cold blood during a mid-night rebel shoot-out when Fordey Sanko the notorious rebel leader ambushed official residence in Freetown.
My mother sustained severs bullet injuries that resulted to her untimely and painful death in a private hospital here in The Gambia. Now I am alone in a totally strange country without parents, relatives or any body to care for me at my tender age. Before my mother died, she told me that my late father deposited the sum of 8,300,000.00 US Dollars in a truck box which was made from diamond sales during the War and was deposited in a Security Company in The Gambia where I am presently residance and that I should pray and find A trustworthy foreign partner who would help me to transfer and invest this money in profitable business ventures overseas. She told me to do this quickly so that I can leave Gambia and then settle down abroad.
She gave me all the deposited documents to prove the deposit and then told me that my late father used my name Mr Joel Levy as his next of Kin to the Consignment Box in the Security Company here. She told me that this is the reason why we came to Gambia. My mother died afterwards. May her spirit rest in perfect peace. I was made to understand that the Consignment Box was deposited as family treasure.
I have been to the Security Company to make inquires about the Consignment Box Containing the Fund and I spoke with the Director Of the Company who assured me that everything is ok in their computers. I am 20years old and as such the director promised to help me. If you are willing to assist me. Please let me know in Time through my private email and provide me with your information.
Please note that I have mapped out 20% for your noble assistance. I am interested in any profitable commercial venture that you consider very good in your country and you would also get Admission in any good school in your Country for me where I can complete my education.
