Paul McCartney and Heather Mills divorce: The computer game
By Dave Parrack
Last week saw the long running, — far too long running, in my opinion — divorce battle between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills come to an end with the Beatle’s ex-wife being awarded $48.6 million. This week sees us being able to play a computer game mocking the events.
Okay, it’s only a flash game, and a pretty poor one at that, but it’s still worth a go of if for no other reason than to laugh at all of the players in this sorry soap opera of a news item.
What’s amazing is how quick the game was put together and made available online, within a couple of days of the end of the case.
The game is titled Splash and Grab, and puts players in the role of the one legged ex model Heather Mills. Mimicking the alleged incident of Mills throwing water over McCartney’s lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, you have to throw cups of water over her, as well as McCartney himself.
Unfortunately, if you hit the judge, who Mills wasn’t too happy with either after he branded her a liar, you have points deducted, which results in less of a substantial payout for Ms. Mills.
The game can be played on the website MuccaChucka.co.uk, which must be loving the amount of traffic being sent its way by various articles about the game’s existence.
I’m not usually one for flash based games, but this did make me laugh, and maybe Mills deserves to get her own back on everyone after the character assassination she’s got from the British press.
At least on this occasion, we’re on her side.
