There is something sad about geezer metal. Angst is a angry young man's domain, all the rest becomes formula churning for $.

"So, it’s not about the downloading, it’s about who is controlling it. Well, why wasn’t that just said in the first place?"

Ummm, where the hell were you? That was said from the beginning....dumb ass!

Metallica helped shut down the original Napster and enraged many fans in the process and since then, their popularity has never seemed to have recovered from it.

Nice move of their part now, but they are eight years too late. Instead of stepping up to the plate and helping to develop a alternative and intelligent business model to P2P/Napster at the turn of the century.

They instead seemed to be the catalyst who inspired the entertainment industry which ended up suing dead grandmothers and 13 year olds and keeping the industry to the CD model instead of innovative ideas that I-Tunes now dominates eight years later.

Better late than never.
