Just left this comment in the other post about the retraction and though it'd be helpful here as well. These Special 250GB Premium "Lifetime" Accounts are still available here: http://www.FileDropperAccounts.com

I bought two yesterday and both accounts says they're paid until 2038 and I haven't had any problems with them. It's a lot cheaper than paying the monthly subscription fee (unless you only need to host or store files for a month).

Anyone still wanting one of these Lifetime Accounts should check it out because I couldn't find them anywhere else and had missed the promotional period.

It appears that filedropper is lying about the 5GB upload. It's been bugging me for a while (being a web programmer) there is a 2GB cap for file uploads and I was trying to figure out how they got around it. So, I just tested uploading a 3GB file and it didn't work. Has anyone been able to upload a file larger than 2GB to file dropper?

I agree with the article, I've tried out a bunch, free hard drive space is awesome and I wasn't too impressed with filedropper. My favorite is www.adrive.com but there are a few others like megaupload, xdrive, and box.net that are good too. Adrive beats them with speed and 50GB for free though. I plan to keep on using filedropper, they may improve their services after all the media attention dies down.

No, it actually IS 250GB. I uploaded a 3MB file and it then told me that I had 3Mb/250Gb filled.

So please be correct in your articles.
