The EEE&#039;s aren&#039;t overpriced when you compare them to other tiny laptops that weigh less than three pounds. 

For their price, they are ground-breaking. They have basically created a new category for laptops (ultralight, ultrasmall, relatively cheap). And they have inspired a host of imitators, some that improve on the EEE, from HP and others. Dell is rumored to be coming out with its EEE-killer shortly.</description>

		<description>I still think these laptops are way over priced. Last week Staples sold a Vista laptop with a 120 GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM and 1.9 Ghz dual core AMD and it also had DVD and CD for selling price of $399.

 Right now Micro center is selling  a Vista laptop all this month for $379, no doubt can be converted to XP or Linux. 

 With little trouble either laptop was can be converted to either Linux or XP Pro.

 Maybe when these tiny laptops sell consistently below $250, then I could see getting one. Right now (in my opinion) they are too expensive for what little they offer.</description>
