Zune Firmware 2.5 is here: Battlestar Galactica, gapless playback, and more
The Zune 2.5 firmware update is finally here, and it’s a big one. The update affects more than just the device firmware, meaning software and online changes are plentiful too.

…but Zunited News Center has dug a little deeper, uncovering what’s really different about the new firmware and spring update.
First of all, the video marketplace has expanded to include new shows like Battlestar Galactica, The Office, South Park, Robot Chicken, Sponge Bob, Rob and Big, Heroes, and more.
Furthermore, metadata editing isn’t quite the same anymore, and album art can be copied and pasted. The Zune and Zune software now support gapless playback, and you will now get a storage capacity reminder when nearing the end of your storage limit. The update also adds the ability to do simultaneous device syncing and individual sync group preparation.
Tons more changes can be added to the list (including several social aspect updates), but we won’t bore you with that. If you have a Zune, just update it and check it out yourself. It’s not like you’re going to remember all this info anyway.
