Teenage gamer busted with dad’s stolen credit card, two prostitutes

May 15, 2008

A teenage boy, who stole his father’s credit card, bought an Xbox 360 games console, booked a Texas motel with his friends, hired two prostitutes, with whom he then played Halo, has been apprehended by Texas police and convicted of fraud.

Ralph Hardy, who just celebrated his birthday, took off from home with his father’s credit card. He then called his friends and went on a spending spree charging around $30,000 to his father’s credit card.

The boy and his friends then checked in a motel, ordered some snacks and hired two prostitutes for $1000 per night. If not for the delivery clerk, who brought the snacks to the motel, the boys would have spent the night playing Halo with the prostitutes.

The boys tricked the prostitutes into believing that they were midgets in a town circus. But the prostitutes told the police that they started to suspect that the boys were lying because they decided to play Halo instead of fooling around with them (Editor: yes that’s probably good indication something’s up, or not, as the case may be).

Now here’s the best part, when asked why he ordered for the prostitutes, Ralph said that he thought it was the done thing after winning a “World of Warcraft” contest.

And when asked if he is afraid of his dad after doing what he did, the Ralph played it cool and said that his dad wouldn’t mind, because he forgot to give him a present anyway. Yeah, right.
