You may have seen the $199 at 3rd party retailers, but not corporate owned stores. It’s only $129 there. And at Best Buy. And online at Sprint’s website.

You didn’t qualify your handset needs in your article. If you need Windows 6.1 and the apps that run under it, and have a need for the functionality of a pda, then of course you would choose something other than the Instinct. The Instinct is a media phone, not a pda.

If you’re going to flippantly dismiss something, at least state some valid reasons why.

Last I read, the Instinct is only available for $129 through Best Buy. At Sprint retailers, it is $199. I would take either of the two HTCs due to them having Windows Mobile 6.1 pro, TouchFlo 3D, etc. Additionally the Touch Pro has a full qwerty keyboard, which for professional use is essential

Um… Sprint sells the Instinct for $129, not $199.

And how do you know you would take one of these new phone over the Instinct when you haven’t even seen them yet? Nice hyperbole.
