you have the phone for one day then write a review on it HAHAHA….Pure Genius. You can in fact use any email you want, i have all of mine linked to the phone. Also who keeps their contacts stored on the computer anymore, its 2009, lets get it together people….computer hard drives fail like people get into car accidents….it happens. Good thing with the G1 your contacts are always going to be around. G1 is far superior to the delicate iphone that you have to put re-inforced steel case that makes it the UGLIEST Phone ever just to protect it….and it still wont last for the length of the contract.

Emily this review covers just several of the major highlights that the iPhone has over the G1. I too believe the iPhone is a better device, but next time please come to the battle with weaponry, this review helps absolutely no one. The facts you managed to get right are common knowledge. No touch screen? Are you smoking crack?

Emily, did you actually got to test the G1?? seems that you are writing your review on what you have read or told, not the actual phone. Did you forget to mention that iPhoes sucks on SMS usability while Android has an awesome interface. I actually have both phones and played with both.

Emily once again you are mistaken, per t-mobiles policy users will be provided the unlock code after 90 days so the phone can be used on any network. This applies to all t-mobile handsets including the G1

You ARE locked into a 2 year agreement with T-Mobile when you buy this phone, just as you are with AT&T and the iPhone.

The touchscreen bit has been corrected-I was mistaken about that fact.

It’s my understanding you ARE locked into T-Mobile with the G1, just as you’re locked to AT&T with the iPhone.

According to T-Mobile’s site “two-year service agreement, qualifying rate plan, and data plan required.”

Emily, do a little research before you review something. Your article is very inaccurate. This phone absolutely has a touch screen. Did Steve Jobs pay you to write this?? And this device will sync with your PC. It just wont link with outlook out of the box. That feature will be added with a free download app if you want it. It does support headphones via the mini usb, which an adapter can be bought for 6 bucks. I agree with reuben, get your facts straight before reviewing. Also how can you review a product that hasnt even been released and you have even used?

Android is the OS. G1 is the device. There will be more phones from other companies running the OS with different options.

You can knock the G1. However, unlike the iPhone you aren’t going to be locked to one carrier or manufacturer.

I hope no one is paying you for this.
