Now that you have your new Blackberry Curve or Bold, it’s time to find a case that will protect it with style.  In the world of business, Blackberry’s native habitat, nothing says style like fine leather.

The Prima vertical holster is made of beautiful soft supple black leather.  The case clips to a belt or purse with the non-removable swivel clip.  The case has a magnetic closure that not only holds your Blackberry securely, even upside down, but also puts your Blackberry to sleep, extending battery life.

Since the belt clip is non-removable this is not a case that fits easily in your pocket.  I have removable belt clips scattered throughout my house from past phone cases where I removed the clip to slide the case into a small purse or a pants pocket and never found it again.

The sides of the case have an elastic insert that allow both the Curve and the Bold to be housed snugly within.  The elastic on the sides also allows you to place your Blackberry in a hard case for further protection and still have it fit in the leather case.

Unlike other vertical holsters, the flap on this one has elastic at the base to ensure that it will be able to stretch over the Bold (or Curve in a hard case) and still snap closed.

Prima thinks of the little additions that make cases more useful.  True the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) holster by Blackberry has some of the same features but it lacks the elastic on the strap that allows it to snap properly if you use a hard case for additional protection.

Personally, I prefer the lateral holster that Prima makes to this case, but that is purely personal preference.  This case is well made, good looking, and keeps your Blackberry within easy reach and quickly accessible.

I would rate this case a 4 on a scale of 5.
