10 funny things you’ll see on Google Street View
By Justin Montgomery
Ever since Street View was introduced, people have been spotting unusual, funny and interesting objects, situations and people all over the world. From robberies in progress to nude sun-bathers, let’s take a look at 10 funny things you’ll see when searching Google’s Street View.
People breaking the law seems to be a familiar scene on Street View these days, with people being caught scaling buildings to break into apartments, people being ticketed and arrested and the list goes on. Take a look…

People breaking the speed limit can be found all over Street View. In this guy’s case, I guess he’s lucky he was only going six miles over.

This is a classic snapshot of what hopefully is someone who has locked themselves out of their apartment, but chances are this is a burglary in progress and Street View caught it all on camera. Besides possible criminals caught in the act, Street View also captures plenty of interactions with police…

Here’s what looks like a disappearing police car that’s pulled over a clunker, and below is a nice example of police upholding the law by parking several cop cars in a row, right underneath a “No Parking” sign. Nice.

Some people make it a hobby to scour the endless miles of Street view in search of weird, funny and interesting things, but Street View has even been credited with helping law enforcement and others solve crime. In one example, a little girl was abducted by her Grandmother, and police were able to track the coordinates of her cell phone to a general location, and then use Street View to search the area for possible hideouts. Upon doing so, they found the little girl unharmed. While there’s numerous uses for Street View still being discovered, the best so far has to be the endless supply of funny sightings. Here’s a few more in no particular order.

Here’s an unfortunate Street View driver that got pulled over while filming in San Francisco near the Golden Gate Bridge. As an interesting side-note, the cars being used for Street View are everything from Prius’ and VW Bugs to Tahoe SUVs and large vans.

Here’s a lonely fellow caught striding into an adult book store, and along the same lines, an interesting marquee for another adult book store below.

Here’s a snapshot of what hopefully is just someone relieving themselves after a bike-ride. Hopefully someone told him to pull his pants up.

Following the trend of people being exposed via Street View, below is perfect example of being in the wrong place and the wrong time.

Last but not least, here’s what’s obviously a drug deal in progress.

These are only a few examples of what can be found, so get out there and start scouring the some 50,000 miles Street View has already captured. To find these photos and more visit the sites below:

I get it! It’s a drug deal because he’s black.
