I wasn&#039;t too surprised to read about this. Skype would kill off a mobile phone&#039;s company profits, and skype would have no doubt crippled the product to prevent industrial backlash. 

I doubt apple would have let it on the apps store if it had 3G / EDGE access. Perhaps some one will hack it?
