Review: CaseCrown suede case – protection for your modern day netbook

By Mike Ferro

Review: CaseCrown case - protection for your modern day netbook Netbooks are a growing trend these days. Many savvy consumers have opted to carry the netbook around versus the laptop due to its ultra portability. However, one of the problems consumers may face is finding the right case for their new netbook.

Traditionally, consumers have relied heavily on large bags for their laptops, but with the popularity of the super small netbooks there is no need to lug around large notebook bags anymore. Netbooks, which usually come under 10-inches are so small, consumers can comfortably carry it with one hand.

However, one of the problems I have faced with my sleek Samsung N110 netbook is finding the right case for it. I like the fact that I can carry it around under tow with one arm. It has allowed me to free myself from my massive 16-inch laptop and its bulky bag.

Because my netbook is so small, I throw it into my messenger bag often, which helps consolidate the number of bags I need to carry. However, I sometimes forget that the netbook is in there and end up banging my messenger bag against the door or wall.

This dilemma eventually led me to CaseCrown’s suede netbook cases. I was intrigued by the style, simplicity and protection the slick cases could provide. Like most people, I have been keeping my netbook in the thin cloth envelope which hardly protects it. However, the suede netbook case has a thin layer of memory foam, which protects it from sudden impact and shock.

The suede case fits the netbook snugly so that you can open and close it without any issue of it coming off. I also like the fact that the zippers are designed so that you can put a lock on the compact case.

Overall, I would say that I am pleased with the compact design and build of the case. The suede case comes in many different flavors. CaseCrown also makes several other netbook specific cases with stylish designs you will not be able to find at many places. For those looking for a netbook case or bag solution make sure to check out CaseCrown.
