I had to really swallow hard to purchase my kindle this summer... just before the price dropped. But I thought it was worth it -- until this morning when I dropped the Kindle, which immediately died. I carry the Kindle everywhere. I can't buy a new one every time I drop it or clunk it against something. They are too fragile for the price.
