IMO every FB app I've seen to date has been a waste of time. That, coupled with the lack of secure coding standards means I refuse to play or acknowledge any of them. It certainly doesn't help when they all want access to my contact list. My FB friends have not opted in to sharing their info so I refuse to do so. I simply hide every app that shows up on my home page.
