Facebook passes 325 million user milestone

Facebook passes 325 million user milestoneThe unstoppable juggernaut known as Facebook continues leaving a path of destruction in its wake as it adds even more users.

According to All Facebook, the popular social network has now broken through the 325 million registered users barrier and shows absolutely no slowdown to its meteoric growth.

While other social networks have had issues with people registering fake accounts, it doesn’t seem that Facebook is facing quite the same issues due to a more in-depth registration process, and the lack of ability to add people without some inclination as to why the person is adding you.  That isn’t to say that there aren’t at least a few fake profiles out there, but with the constantly declining membership numbers of sites such as Myspace and Bebo, it’s easy to see that Facebook is gaining real numbers.

With a virtual population that now rivals the likes of counties such as the United States, one has to wonder how many more people the network can possibly add, but it sure isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
