MyWebWill helps you die onlineIt’s one of those things that you don’t think about until it’s too late. But what would happen to your online presence if you were to die suddenly? MyWebWill has thought about it and is trying to make a business out of protecting your online legacy once you pass away.

Those of us who spend any length of time on the Web likely have multiple sites and networks we contribute to. It could be a blog, a forum, or social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. But what happens to those accounts when we die?

According to VentureBeat, MyWebWill is a Swedish startup addressing this issue head-on. Here the company’s founders Lisa Granberg and Elin Tybring explain how MyWebWill works.

MyWebWill is set to launch in beta in the new year, and will have free as well as paid options. Facebook recently started offering memorialized profiles for people who die, but this offers much more on a much bigger scale.
