Woman uses iPhone To Get Pregnant
Chalk another use up for the iPhone as a woman in Scotland just used hers to aid in getting pregnant.
Thirty-year-old Lena Bryce spoke to The Sun about how she and her husband Dudley had tried to get pregnant for four years without success. ”It began to weigh heavily on us. We were considering IVF and adoption when Dudley gave me the iPhone for my 30th. I typed in ‘get pregnant’ and downloaded five apps,” Ms. Bryce told the paper. Of the five she tried, she liked the Free Menstrual Calendar (iTunes link) the best, and after only two months of use she found herself pregnant.
Not only did the app help her get pregnant, but it also predicted that she would give birth on Friday, Jan. 22, and she did. Ms. Bryce gave birth to 6lb 12ozs daughter Lola at Glasgow’s Southern General Hospital. Said Dudley, “I’m over the moon. It’s all worked out and we’re just so happy.”
Apparently there isn’t anything the iPhone can’t do.
