Technical glitch hits Apple iPhone 4 unveiling – Steve Jobs struggles to cope

Apple unveiled the iPhone 4 today. But things didn’t exactly go according to plan at one point in the unveiling.

Apple usually prides itself on doing things more smoothly and in a more organized way than the competition. And this even goes for Steve Jobs public speeches and product launches.

However, during the WWDC keynote which saw the iPhone 4 make its debut, Apple and Jobs discovered that perfection isn’t guaranteed, especially when technology is involved.

The full video of what went wrong can be seen on Gizmodo, and it’s definitely worth watching if only to see how Jobs manages when he has to improvise. Spoiler: Not very well.

This could have happened to anyone, and any company, granted. But it happened to Steve Jobs of Apple live on stage at the biggest tech unveiling of the year. Which must smart just a little seeing as how important reputation and branding is to Apple.
